Unfiltered exchange between Jérôme Cayroche and Olivier Juramie, respectively CEO and President of Nexia S&A.

How is Nexia S&A doing?

Olivier Juramie : Nexia S&A recorded 10% growth and reached €75 million in turnover in 2025. All professions are progressing, stimulating growth that exceeds that of the market.

Jérôme Cayroche: Nexia S&A is doing very well, in particular, thanks to a strong international dynamic. The firm was elected “Firm of the Year” by the Nexia network, a collective recognition of the quality of our teams.

What are the jobs that drive growth? And those who are impacted by the current economic and political context?

JC: All of our businesses are growing. Some activities are more sensitive to the economic situation, such as TS or M&A, but they are holding up well. Because our teams adapt very quickly to changes and customer needs, and maintain a quality service. This ability to adapt is our strength, and this is major in the current context.

OR: Nexia S&A is not directly impacted: no business is slowing down. But uncertainty creates doubt among businesses and hampers some projects. This context is also creating new needs and Nexia S&A is working on these topics: support for clients in difficulty, restructuring development, ESG support, even if CSRD certification is postponed.

Faced with the consolidation of the consulting market, does Nexia S&A have a critical size to protect itself from a takeover? What do you do to grow?

OR: Size matters, but what really makes a difference is our ability to create more value than others. By controlling our capital and by innovating, we position ourselves as consolidators. We focus on operational excellence, the expansion of our offer, the integration of new talent and technological partnerships to accelerate. This does not exclude reconciliations if they reinforce the value created.

JC: Our model was designed to remain independent. The partnership is renewed naturally, without financial pressure or the need for external funds, we regularly integrate young partners. In addition, we are not a target for investors, who are mainly looking for models oriented to accounting production, far from our position as experts and consultants.

What challenges does Nexia S&A have to face in order to adapt, in particular to the arrival of electronic invoicing, AI...?

JC: We anticipate these developments. On electronic invoicing, we have structured a dedicated team that trains our employees and supports customers, and the first missions have already been launched. On AI, we are acculturating all teams and moving towards shared solutions: a platform for accessing LLMs and intelligent agents dedicated to our businesses will be deployed as early as 2026.

OR: Our main challenge is to adapt: when the economy slows down, we redeploy our efforts, especially towards advice. Future obligations, such as CSRD or electronic invoicing, are becoming service opportunities. They invite us to strengthen cross-selling between our businesses. Nexia S&A is an ambitious structure and these developments are all levers for creating value.

What messages do you want to send to employees and your customers?

JC: To our clients, I want to remind them that we are a firm of experts and consultants: our role is to help them meet their obligations, but also to transform themselves. And to our collaborators, I say: be actors. Ideas come from those who look forward and come up with new solutions. It is the ability to anticipate and think about the “next step” that makes the difference at Nexia S&A.

OR: Be curious! That is my message to the teams. The role of the expert is to understand situations, to act when everything changes and to transform these developments into opportunities. Nothing is set in stone and what Nexia S&A has become is thanks to you. To our customers, I want to say that we believe in the future of our businesses: solid expertise, constant monitoring and a strong human relationship to help them master new subjects.
