By bringing its teams closer to those of Atriom, a firm specializing in consolidation and valuation, Nexia S&A is sustainably strengthening its expertise in this strategic segment and affirming its ambition in the mid-market.
A demanding market, in tension, with high added value
Consolidation remains a narrow market — around 3,000 groups in France — but strategic in the mid-market segment. Behind these figures, the challenges are complex: IFRS standards, valuations, financial instruments... And the few players: the technical expertise required creates a strong barrier to entry and a strain on qualified sources.
Already active in this segment, Nexia S&A was working in consolidation with seasoned generalist teams. To support the increase in complexity of its customers' needs and strengthen its legitimacy in this business vertical, the group needed to take a step forward in specialized expertise and market visibility.
A structuring partnership based on expertise and shared values
To meet these challenges, Nexia S&A has chosen a strategic partnership with Atriom.
An independent firm founded over twenty years ago, Atriom is recognized as a reference in consolidation in the mid-market. With around 70 professionals, Atriom works with a hundred groups, mainly middle market groups, which it supports in a full services Consolidation logic. His expertise covers IFRS standards, valuation and complex technical issues, supported by innovative solutions, truly proven in critical environments.
Beyond skills, the two structures share an entrepreneurial culture and a model supported exclusively by professionals, guaranteeing independence, commitment and a long-term vision.
A strengthened positioning, an expanded offer, an increased attractiveness lever
This merger immediately reinforces Nexia S&A's positioning in a key business and supports its ambition to become a leading player in the mid-market. The creation of a dedicated team of experts makes it possible to absorb more highly technical requests. Complementarity with existing businesses — audit, accounting expertise, accounting, transaction services, CSR, international — offers the group a global and coherent response.
For Atriom, the operation constitutes a structuring development lever: access to more robust support functions, support for an international network, the ability to develop cross-selling and to offer its customers a more comprehensive offer.
The group formed also reinforces its attractiveness, by offering talents a demanding technical environment, prospects for development and a sustainable entrepreneurial model.
3 questions to
Olivier Juramie & Jérôme Cayroche, President and CEO of Nexia S&A
Jerome Giannetti & Marc Leclerc, Founding partners of Atriom
Why did you choose a combination rather than traditional external growth?
Olivier Juramie: The challenge is to increase the added value produced, not to accumulate volume. We believe in an entrepreneurial, capitalistic model, driven by operationally invested partners. We favor partnerships with teams we know and who share our vision.
What synergies are you already seeing?
Jerome Giannetti: We have built ourselves as a firm of consolidation specialists. Nexia S&A has complementary expertise — audit, transaction services, transaction services, CSR, international — which will allow us to broaden our field of intervention. We have already started working together on some issues.
Jérôme Cayroche: The complementarity is obvious. Atriom brings technical depth and differentiating tools. Together, we are building a leading team in this segment. It is a joint and convergent evolution, where each reinforces the other.
What does this merger change in the way you operate in the mid-market?
Olivier Juramie: It marks a qualitative change in scale. We are consolidating a key business and gaining visibility in a strategic segment. This allows us to support more demanding groups, to absorb more complex requests and to assert our position as a leading player in the mid-market.
Marc Leclerc: We have access to structured support functions, an international network and new mission opportunities for our teams. This project secures our development and offers real opportunities for talent to evolve.
